• NationalService Scheme was established on June 27, 2014 at our College. Currently NSS operates two units.
boys unit : 100 Volunteers
girls unit : 50 volunteers

under the guidance of programme officer dr. shivdayal patel our NSS unit performing outstandingly.some of their
works and achievements are as follows :-
yEAR 2019-2020
- One volunteer prakash singh thakur participated at international youth camp in nepal
- one volunteer kiran kanwar participated at national youth camp at lukhnow
- one volunteer yachika rani mahant attended state level NSS camp at sariya,Raigarh
- dr shivdayal patel played important role at state level NSS camp at sariya,raigarh and honoured by higher education minister,chhattisgarh for his outstanding work
• In 2016-17 Chhattisgarh's best programofficer award was given to Dr. Shivdayal Patel.
• Got Second prize under the National Young leader award program in 2015-16.
• National level Research Symposium sponsored by Chhattisgarh Science and Technology Council Raipur, organized on 28-29 March 2015
• In the sponsorship of OXFAM-India Raipur, National Seminar was organized on 10thDecember 2017 on the occasion of International Human Rights Day.
• Planting of Drumstick plant (Munga)to reduce anemia and malnutrition by NSS volunteers in courtyard (badi), 210families in adopted village Dongribhata.
• In the year2016-17 under the guidance of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Education Quality Year, Onehour of free teaching by the NSS volunteers in the adopted school Government Primary School, Dongribhata.
• Regular arrangement of various activities including Total Sanitation Campaign, Voter Awareness Rally, Pulse Polio Vaccination, Shramdan.
• Extensive publicity for making open defecation free village.
• Toilets construction by NSS volunteers in village- Tuman durung NSS seven day special camp in2015-16.
• Voter awareness and basic training was conducted through Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, SEPWAS Korba, SVEEP.
• 30 days yoga training and medicalcamp were organized in the village Faraswani.
